Sit-Down Song: Play the CD and sing along.  Each line has a movement:

No, no, no (wave index finger authoritatively to the beat)
Oh, oh oh (hold hands up by your head and shake as if you’re worried)
Yeah, yeah yeah (make a muscle with arm and shake it to the beat)
Whaa, whaa, whaa (“rub” eyes to the beat as if crying)
Meow, meow, meow (either hold up cat’s ears to your head or move your “paws” to the rhythm stealthily)
Bow, wow, wow (wag your “tail” to the beat)
Ha, ha, ha (lean head back and pat belly to the beat as if laughing)
Cha, cha, cha (do a twist to the beat)

Sing A Cappella (without the CD): Make up additional verses to include other family members, like Grandma, Grandpa, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. such as “Uncle Steve says I Love You” and make it rhyme with other animals, like “the crazy cow says Moo Moo Moo.”

Blues Music: Explain to your child that this song is in the style of the Blues.  Find other examples of Blues music to play for your child.
