Activities:   
 

Sing Along With The CD (bonding and rhythm & pitch development -- babies): Sing happily to your child while making eye contact & smiling! Modeling your joy of music will help your child develop joy of music. 

Circle Dance (rhythm & motor coordination – ages 3-4 ): Hold each other’s hands and dance in a circle to the music (variation on the hora). You can change directions for each verse or chorus. This will help develop motor coordination & stepping in rhythm. 

Choose a different body part for Bim & Bom (rhythm & pitch development – babies, toddlers, ages 3-4): Play the CD & sing the song. Whenever the word “bim” is sung, tap your child’s nose (or any part you choose), whenever the word “bom” is sung, tap your child’s belly (or any part you choose). During other parts of the song, you can clap your hands to the beat or make up movements. 

Lap Song (bonding, rhythm & pitch development, vestibular system development – babies, toddlers, ages 3-4): Put your child in your lap, play the CD & sing the song. Whenever the word “bim” is sung, lean your child to one side, whenever the word “bom” is sung, lean your child to the other side! During other parts of the song, you can bounce your child to the beat or make up movements.
