One Little Bunny
By Eric Litwin
Lyrics:
One little bunny hopping in the snow
Along came another, and he said, “Hello!”
Hop hop hop and away they go.
How many bunnies? Do you know?... TWO!
Two little bunnies hopping in the snow
Along came another, and he said, “Hello!”
Hop hop hop and away they go.
How many bunnies? Do you know?... THREE!
Three little bunnies hopping in the snow
Along came another, and he said, “Hello!”
Hop hop hop and away they go.
How many bunnies? Do you know?... FOUR!
It’s a bunny party!
Activities:
Sit-down Song/ Finger play: Option 1: (Bunny is made of one finger)
One little bunny hopping in the snow
Hold up one finger, and then bounce it up & down
Along came another, and he said, “Hello!”
Hold up one finger on your other hand, then bounce it over to the other hand. For “hello,” you can wiggle that finger like he’s waving
Hop hop hop and away they go.
Bounce both fingers together from one side to the other
How many bunnies do you know?... TWO!
Shrug your shoulders and hold your hands out like you’re asking a question. For, “Two!” hold up two fingers on one hand.
Then start the next verse with two fingers on one hand, and bounce one finger on your other hand over to the two “bunnies.”
Option 2 (MOST FUN!): (Bunny is made of a hand with two fingers or a foot)
One little bunny hopping in the snow
Hold up TWO fingers, and then bounce them up & down
Along came another, and he said, “Hello!”
Hold up TWO fingers on your other hand, then bounce them over to the other hand. For “hello,” you can wiggle those fingers like they’re waving
Hop hop hop and away they go.
Bounce both hands together from one side to the other
How many bunnies do you know?... TWO!
Shrug your shoulders and hold your hands out like you’re asking a question. For, “Two!” hold up two fingers on one hand.
Then start the next verse with both hands holding two fingers up, and bounce one foot over to the two “bunnies.” And try adding a fourth bunny if you dare, and even a fifth (your head)
