Peek-A-Boo
By Michael Levine, adapted by Eric Litwin and Michael Levine

Lyrics:

One, two, Peek-A-Boo

You see me, and I see you.

I see your nose, yes I do.

Time to play Peek-A-Boo.

One, two, Peek-A-Boo

You see me, and I see you.

I see your hair, yes I do.

Time to play Peek-A-Boo.

Activities:

Lap Song: Put your child in your lap facing you.  On the first line, “One two Peek-a-boo,” cover your eyes and remove them for “peek-a-boo.”  Point to your child, then at yourself for “you see me,” and the opposite for “and I see you.”   Point to the part on his/her face on the next line, then cover your eyes again and remove them for the last line.  You can take suggestions- “what’s another part of your face?” and repeat, such as eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, chin, forehead, etc.

Anatomy/ Color in the Picture: Color the picture of “Peek-a-Boo” in the coloring page, using this opportunity to teach your child about anatomy by pointing to different parts of the body on the coloring book page and have your child color them in.
