Direction Dance: Play the CD and have fun dancing with your child while following the lyrics and acting out the motions to this well-known children’s song. Touch each part of your body as the words suggest. For “talk to the hand,” hold your hand out as if saying, “stop.”  Dance wildly during the musical interludes between verses and at the end.

Anatomy/ Color in the Picture: Color the picture of “Head Shoulders Knees and Toes” in the TLG Bouncy Blue coloring book, using this opportunity to teach your child about anatomy by pointing to different parts of the body on the coloring book page or have them color in just the head, shoulders, knees and toes, as depicted in the song.
